What I fear is younger folks actually believing that things HAVE to be this way. They don't. "But how will it scale?" It doesn't have to. "But how will you monetize it?" You can, but you don't HAVE to. Again: IT. WAS. NOT. LIKE. THiS. not too long ago. It was cool, and weird, and serendipitous, and raw, and ugly.
