because policing parking has a cost. duh. making markings on the road, the signs, fining those without one in the wrong place, does have a cost. Now I'm not saying £20 a year is the right answer, but there is some evidence that if it was free, too many people would try to get one, and there is a cost to processing the applications.

I personally don't thing £5 for a GRC and what is it £140 for a passport makes much sense.

but a blue badge is not proof you are disabled. it's a tool for people who use cars to park more easily.

nobody should get a new birthcertificate.
