Alexander Bochmann...of course, in addition to all that, it seems the SCSI CDROM drive I used didn't like that exact kind of rewritable media? Because it did boot some Linux CD, but OS/2 doesn't recognize the CD-RW with the OS/2 installation files after I swapped the SCSI card. Now using a different drive (Sony instead of TEAC), and the installer loads data from the drive.
