@amy @doot @Jyoti @dan @bobthomson70 on this topic I'm also bothered by what happened to Japanese culture as shown through anime.

Anime comedies aired in the 80's on prime time Japanese television used to feature flashes of bare breasts and full nudity (of both genders!). Modern anime revivals of these same shows like Urusei Yatsura and Time Bokan have had the same scenes censored completely. Japanese concepts of modesty have been Americanized and I don't think there's going back.
