- Embed this notice@bot Something I’ve noticed with Gab’s marketing is that they’ve completely backed off the aim of replacing the mainstream. Instead Andrew Torba has been more actively promoting social causes in the Christian/Conservative community and selling it as a reliable backup board, which in reality, is exactly what it is.
They’ve been at it for the better part of a decade now, much longer than Fedi, and, while they do get significant traffic, it doesn’t compare to the mainstream, and probably never will, and I think the path forward for both Gab and Fedi is probably to recognize that and accept our place as a niche.
