You know why I avoid building “clout”?

When I first started my business, I realized there was a whole ecosystem of douchebags who exist purely to take advantage of the newly self-employed.

The amount of calls I received from “coaches” and “networkers” selling snake oil makes my blood boil.

And none of them offer any value except “clout”.
