I would expect the dominant sex to be more aggressive and assertive. So yea the commit most of the "violent" crimes.

But if we are going to turn this into a battle of the sexes then

-men are denigrated more than women
-men are marginalized and shamed for being men more
-women get off easier with sentencing than men
-men underreport violent crimes done by women
-women tend to be more domestically violent than men

Again, stupid point.
