Post apocalyptic anime don’t use the ‘scientific facility that appears good on the surface but is actually evil‘ trope challenge (all fail this).

That and the ‘protagonist gets attacked by bandits but doesn’t kill them because he’s a good person‘ and then gets left alone, as if the bandits wouldn’t just come back with 20 more people the next day.

Is this just nips not understanding how merciless most people would get when they haven’t had food in 2 weeks and have to kill each other for access to clean water?
