@Aleph The cure for religion is strong education (especially sexual education to help children understand consent and abuse) and progressive i.e. anti-authoritarian politics. One of the many things that have to be achieved BEFORE transitioning from capitalism to 'the anarchist future' is attainable.

Even now you see religion is cornered and lashing out, because it is losing its deathgrip over hearts and minds. We don't need to fight it directly because we are fighting authoritarianism, which creates irreligion as a byproduct.

Religion would not be a massive problem if not for the power structures built by it over centuries. Shattering those is sufficient to make it no longer a problem unless we allow it to compound again over centuries.
