Mesa Keith@youronlyone Just a nitpick, but I do remember Facebook being described as "Friendster-like" to me. If I'd describe it, I would say, (for Mastodon) "it's the same type of website such as Twitter or Tumblr" which is just a longer way of saying microblogging. In other words, I'd use multiple examples so they would expect that Mastodon is as similar/different to Twitter as is different to Tumblr.
