As a DJ, I generally organize my tracks not just by BPM, key, and genre, but also on an idiosyncratic scale that roughly goes "organic -> soulful -> fun -> emotional -> mindless -> inhuman". It helps me pick a vibe and work in and out of different valences. Sometimes you want that peak to give people feels, sometimes it's "wheeee!", and sometimes its "I'm a consciousness beyond humanity".
