Okay, this is going to be super-nerdy, but I know this is the right place to ask. 😉

Is there a standard location for #Unix or #Linux #shell scripts that can be sourced as libraries? Ideally, it's not locked to a specific shell, but I would also love to hear what specific shells do.

I have a desire for something along these lines, but don't want to reinvent the wheel if I can avoid it! :boost_requested:
