In the sense that some of the symptoms are aggravated by stress...but no not purely.
I had a particularly stressful day Friday before last. Got a but worked up. Tears and such. That triggered a whole barrage of symptoms. I was darn near bedridden for days.
My whole hiking group got it. Close to all the continued symptoms. The only not shared was I got Jaundice from it as well.
