@dmitri I'm not sure about that. People have been talking about problems for years, and SocialHub has a huge archive of these discussions.
With FEPs we are finally getting some results. New proposals come almost every week now. These proposals are well-thought-out, sometimes informed by implementations, and they really help move discussion forward.

The fragmentation of online spaces doesn't help at all.
