Robert van Hoesel@gotosocial Understandable in most ways, but not great news for people that are hoping to continue using their favorite Mastodon compatible clients in the future.
GoToSocial’s headless approach (which I love) kind of requires compatibility with Mastodon Clients, but I fear GTS isn't big enough yet to sway clients into actively supporting different UIs depending of feature support.
Would you actively consider, discuss and evaluate future version, or do you want to branch off completely?
