If the US and the EU didn't use the heavy hand tactics forcing countries with differing opinions or attitudes, they may have been able to save their monopoly and perceived power base. Now the potential for a full on revolution may be in tow. Sometimes having moronic, power hungry, sociopathic, elitists. Now they're watching their plan turn to excrement and it's fun to watch.
