@roadriverrail I love the idea of training, but I've never seen it happen in Ops. It's generally, ok the edict is this, and you either sink or swim. Learning a single language is already hard when you're OnCall and working all day. It's very hard to keep up and live a life. I've been able to expense something like Redhat / Cisco training and certification, but then getting work to approve time off to take the classes is another thing too. I don't understand how people are doing it.
