@sirJoho so in this analysis @adam hits an interesting point bringing up trans humanism. But then settles on the overall driving force being Maoism. But there is a spiritual element here that is important.

We are made in the image of God. But the transhumanist goal is to be remade in our own image. This is the original sin. To gain knowledge of good and evil so that we may become like God. In the next episode Adam had a clip where they literally said "trans people are God".
