heather mcdanielsOne of the main reason, I feel, that so many older & rural people in the country are turned by Fox & other extreme conservative "news" organizations is the freedom tfg gave to Sinclair Broadcasting just after he was foisted upon the country. Now, Sinclair is even larger & planning to change their name. You can read this article from 2017 (below) warning about Sinclair, but right now, they control about 70-some percent of small town & rural TV stations across the country.
Fox also gained a foothold in military organizations & bases, which many veterans & Democratic military personnel hope the Pentagon will pull the plug on Fox. Many of the Jan6 seditionists were military personnel, either active or veteran. All were subjected to the lies & (let's be honest here) brainwashing of Fox.
