I just put a massive bag of grass clippings into the cardboard skip at the tip.

While I had my head in my hands, mortified, your main guy there told me not to worry about it, it happens all the time, it'll be fine. Just go on your way, we'll sort it out.

So I did. As I pulled away, hot from embarrassment, there were three men climbing into the skip with nets and brushes, and they'd closed the skip. I can imagine they thought I was a complete idiot, or ruder words.
