@Gargron Are there any plans to support a wider range of attributes for status text?

Ideally, posting status form data of “_Italic_ and **bold** text” would end up as Status.content of “<em>Italic</em> and <strong>bold</strong>”.

Should be relatively easy for clients to adopt because some HTML content processing is already being done. Web clients might even get it for free.

We'd finally be free of the shackles of SMS ?
