I think what's different this time is that generally the queer marketing for Bud Light has probably been specifically targeted inside queer cultural spaces. You wouldn't walk into a straight bar and see Bud Light queer marketing materials, after all.
I think what makes this...tiff...different is because ABI decided to put some queer marketing where cishets could see it.
