@ewdocparris "Cloud!" Mother shouted. "Watch outside, cloud, our real cloud!"
I was startled outside and lost for words. A huge grey mass was floating in the sky, different from the color of the sky that appeared in old classic films.
"Is it what we made?"
Mother nodded.
We kept pouring the excavated water onto the dry ground. All the water was absorbed into the ground, but somewhere it evaporated and became clouds.
"The first rain in 150 years will fall on the Earth"
