voxelApple-taint aside, my 2012 MacbookProRetina is still mostly going strong. The monitor glass glue is slowly disintegrating and the built in SD card reader is toast. But the main issue is the battery, which randomly drops below minimum voltage and turns off the laptop. So I'm considering a replacement battery, but a lot of the reviews suggest the replacements are good for a year or two at best,
