Faelan@LadyDragonfly: The problem with this argument — and it's not a logic problem, it's a problem of convincing people — is, authoritarian people have been very successful in convincing the society at large that other people's actions should be seen in isolation, and falling short of abstract "principles", and authoritarian people's actions should be seen as not individual choices but application of ancient and everlasting rules, and nobody should pay any attention that they just made the ancient rules up yesterday.
