Hey all,

I hate asking for anyone to boost any of my posts, but this is an exception. I want the biggest sample size I can get, and it's a niche request, so I need some help with reach.

I want to recommend a book to a couple parents I know, but wanted some feedback on which one first.

This is for the parents of a teen with ADHD. The teen's father is more authoritarian, while the mother's parenting style is more collaborative.

The two options I think would benefit them most are:

"How To Talk So Kids Will Listen & How To Listen So Kids Will Talk" by Adele Faber & Elaine Mazlish

"The Explosive Child" by Ross Greene

I think both options are great books, but I also have a pretty limited expertise here (outside of my own experience and reading).

If anyone here has experience with either or both books, I'd love to hear how helpful or not you found them. Especially if you work with kids/teens with ADHD, or other neurodiversities.
