The kernel, Linux has no games, as kernels don't usually implement games (as that's not the right place to implement them usually).
The steam deck runs GNU/Linux, although it also has WINE+DVXK+esync (proton), which allows running proprietary malware games written for windows.
It is NOT a success to be able to run greater amounts of proprietary malware on an OS than before.
