@jarilehtinen While as there are more artists getting their music out there, the main charts are still controlled by the corporate oligarchies which decide the majority of what we hear. Unfortunately this will probably never change because there is to much content out there to be able to have any idea what is or isn't in the public zeitgeist without controlling that narrative.

However with that said, I was a little disappointed in the new Gorillaz album.
