@clacke I feel like that movie is entirely a moment - a moment where Anime was still a little bit scrappy and underground - still a little surprising, science fiction was a little bit weird, and everything was a little bit different. Where we scraped the scraps of joy from the edges of culture. And then someone just.., handed us that. Which is, really good
