@ThotsAndOpinions @StaleDonut yeah security on fediverse is something that never really gets talked about. especially not the social engineering side of it so maybe I'll make some kind of talk or a blog post to help people. there's only so much we can do for the protocol and the people who use it if security isnt universal and i think thats a major thing that should be included in the soapbox install instructions so I will work with @alex on this during this week to make sure security is covered
