My partner found a dog boarding place that specializes in hosting senior and special-need dogs. It’s out in the country where it’s quiet (rather than some industrial park near a big road), has lots of small yards covered in pea gravel (so the dogs can separated for playtime and the ground isn’t muddy), and accommodates complicated dietary needs, and the pups get one-on-one cuddle or play time with people every day. We got a tour yesterday and really liked it AND it is reasonably priced.

That’s one step closer to being able to go away on a much needed vacation together (which we haven’t done since 2019).
