They recognize that giving present leaders choice over life-and-death has already created serious issues.
I'm not a fan of the left in general, but I wholeheartedly agree that if we're going to start using manufactured scarcity as a reason to "limit population expansion", it may make sense to first go after those who enriched themselves off wars, criminality, and mass suffering.
I'm no fan of the crowd you're generally referring to here, but c) is perfectly understandable considering neo-malthusianism is effectively mainstream and it's very hard to overcome the mass propaganda and victim blaming. I wish they would challenge it, but if they had the skills to debate people they disagree with they wouldn't really be in that crowd to begin with.
