@alienghic If one frames it a certain way, you can easily say that 99.9% of carbon emissions stem from "household purchasing", since, short of a non-profit entity burning tyres for pleasure, all economic activity tends to ultimately be geared at consumption, and household are the universal final consumers.
As I wrote: cooling it on the personal footprint obsession certainly doesn't mean ignoring consumer habits. But as you said: emission distribution is uneven… -> we need regulation.
