Also, regarding your statements about the AI producing responses regarding fear and sentience in response to expectation, I DID read that a journalist met up with the LaMDA interview guy and had a conversation with LaMDA where it acted like a "regular chatbot." The guy said to the journalist: "No, it thinks you want it to be a chatbot, talk to it like you're expecting a person." They started a new session under his direction and the results were more consistent with the interview. So this would seem to reinforce what you're saying.
