I wouldn't blindly trust Europe with my data neither, though it shouldn't matter as much because I'm not even a citizen of any of their countries and neither I'm even physically there, but I did hold a company registration there at one point in time, and still hold on to a bank account there, which I'll probably lose the moment they replace bank accounts for CBDCs.
As for digital slavery, I mean digital ID, remember how many times I talked about it here, and how many of them were about Europe specifically?
