@alex @gme @vincent i grapple with this because people insist it does not that it really is just emergent behavior (it's proprietary and openai doesn't tell us everything.) i don't know but it is plausible because originality is overrated in problem solving and people want to feel like humans are doing something special most of the time that a machine can't and every time in my lifetime someone said a computer can't do something and never will they always ended up being wrong.
