Poast is a popular landing spot for the Fediverse due to our size and the advertising that was done for it, but Poast culture is also not going to be for everyone and we’ve always had conflict whenever we get an influx of users as we are very protective of the culture we’ve cultivated here. What has always helped with this is people creating their own instances

It helps the Fediverse become more decentralized and allows you to have more control over your subculture while still interacting with everyone else. And it’s easy to move your Poast account to your new instance. The admins, their friends, and mods know all about how it works and will usually help you out with whatever you need to make the move. I highly consider doing it if Poast isn’t the instance for you.
