    @curiousthinker >they have a plastic sheet under the keyboard for spills so it all poured out the side and missed the motherboard.
    That probably wasn't a quality one.

    The quality libreboot-libre-able ones have drainage holes for the keyboard, so any liquid flows right on through the laptop without many chances for damage.
