@luana @mammoth Mastodon actually renamed posts back to “posts” somewhat recently—within the last year or so. They were called “toots” as a joke and @Gargron didn’t realize the meaning initially (non-native English speaker).

The web UI and official apps all use “publish post” and “reblog” now instead of “toot” and “boost” (though I still really like “boost”).
