On another iOS app I’ve used called Toot, tapping and holding on the Follow button triggers a menu that allows user to follow from other accounts. On desktop, this could perhaps be emulated by clicking and holding or perhaps a right click? Ivory also does a similar thing when you tap and hold the boost button on a toot, letting you choose from which of your accounts you’re boosting from.
