I think the tech layoffs suck. Shit rolls downhill. But if you were in Silicon Valley (or any tech hub) and you did not instincively feel the bubble, then you're just not an intuitive person. I could feel it the moment I got my first TECH job. Bunch of fucking BOZOs in those nice office buildings. Weak faggots you could kill with one solid punch to the head.
