The only people that would be able to see your IP is someone with SSH access to the server, another instance administrator if media proxy is off, or locally if logs are kept at all. Moderators, even privileged ones, at most can only see your email address/DMs that sort of thing.

I dont know the full context of what's going on here but I would suggest understanding what you're talking about before you make such statements.
