Ashley Biden rented a house in Delray Beach FL

She left the diary in the home where it was stolen by two people who have subsequently plead guilty to the theft.

The two thieves, before being apprehended, sold the diary to Project Veritas.

Project Veritas could not verify it was authentic. They attempted to return to Ashley via her attorney who refused.

Project Veritas then gave it to law enforcement.

Law enforcement [apparently] determined it was real and began tracking down the thieves after determining it was stolen.

They raided Project Veritas guy’s home looking for evidence (despite the fact he is the one who handed it over and refused to publish it). PV has not been charged.

The diary apparently was written while Ashley was in rehab and by all accounts is real (otherwise why is the FBI, DOJ investigating). There also is a recording of Ashley discussing the diary and admitting it is real.
