Fielding, PhD@brion Minor quibble: The GPS or GNSS locations are calculated relative to the center of the Earth in an exterior reference frame estimated from information about the GNSS satellite orbits and then converted to locations relative to the rotating Earth with an Earth rotation model at a specific time. This is a small issue for airplane-scale navigation but important for precise locations.
