Son is going out with friends to celebrate New Year's.

My rules:

• no drinking in a public establishment —you're not of legal age, I don't want to pick you up at the police station
• drinking is ok if at a private party, but BE REASONABLE
• DO NOT BOARD A VEHICLE if the driver has ingested alcohol or smoked/vaped pot —and do not let them drive
• if any issue, text me, call me, I'll pick you up (but please, not from the police station)
• no rioting, no car burning
