@marek As I'm implementing photos and galleries/albums in my Friendica app I'm mostly interested in three things: making uploads during posting easier; making captioning during upload easier; making gallery search/browse easier. I have the first two done. Ironically I didn't even know about tagging people, being able to like it etc. since that doesn't follow the workflows I'm used to.
