Of course, we all should choose the terms that resonate with us and our values.

I agree that corporate efforts to mislabel or enclose open source software (sic!) should be strongly opposed. I also believe that spending a lot of energy on terminology arguments with people whose goals have strong overlap with your own is wasteful, alienating and easy, while fighting and winning against said corporate interests is necessary and hard.
