Just wanted to say thank you for in the past retelling the story of those who were held in detention. I put my nativity set up this year and remembered my parents, married in 1940, and their friends the Hiragas a couple who met and married in a camp. The silk painting on rice paper of Mt. Fuji in the background is something that I treasure dearly and was a gift from them to my parents.
