Børge@mmasnick @taylorlorenz This is how it works on Facebook, and I can't remember ever seeing anyone have the same damning analysis of the fb share feature as clout chasing, rage baiting, dog piling civil discord destroying feature as I see people talk about QTs like every day on here. But then again Mastodon is more like Twitter, so comparing it with fb is less salient, of course. And many would say fb has been terrible for discourse too, with good reason.
