We're seeing more and more implants that rely on proprietary software to function and more and more of the startups that make this tech going out of business, leaving patients who rely on that software simply out of luck, often with debilitating conditions that could be relieved but for an update of the software on devices that are already implanted! Poignant examples of why we need #SoftwareFreedom for tech we rely on.
